Welcome to Lowell City Airport (24C)
Being based at a "sport plane friendly" airport is a huge bonus for your training. We've got three runways to progress your Pitts transition smoothly and efficiently. Long but narrow asphalt, longer and wider grass, and another grass runway that's shortest of all. Plenty of ability for crosswind practice and no control tower makes it easy in/out.
Just 9 nm to the west of "24 Chuck" is Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) where we have the option to work with MASSIVE runways and tower controllers if we need.
The aerobatics practice area is about 5 minutes away which gives us enough time to climb to a safe altitude, check our belts, clear the area, and get to work/fun!
